Most people will know the basic principals of boxing, however, boxing is as diverse and complex as any Oriental martial art and takes a great deal of skill and nerve. Boxers training schedules are varied utilising technical training and cardio vascular workouts. Although boxing is an individual sport the training sessions are always enjoyable and partner work is common.
The UK AMA has a full time professional boxing gym under the supervision of professional boxing trainer Jim Burns, Coach Jim is keen to bring pro boxing into the main stream and welcomes anyone how is interested in boxing training even if is just to keep fit.
